Wife and Brother burnt to death in bayelsa

A 37-12 months vintage man allegedly set the house of his in-laws on hearth at Isampou in Ekeremor LGA in Bayelsa kingdom, killing the mom-in-law, after his wife divorced him. The brother-in-regulation, who sustained first diploma burns later died at the clinic.


In keeping with leadership Newspaper, the incident befell on Thursday, at approximately 9pm. Angry mob from the community stormed the suspect's village in speed boats with the burnt corpses to perform a reprisal assault through setting ablaze his own family house ablaze in Bomadi, Delta country.

It become collected that the suspect become having marital problems together with his wife who later referred to as off the marriage and lower back to her discern's village. An Isampou indigene said:
"yes I heard about the hearth. We gathered that the spouse left him some days in the past insisting that she does no longer need to marry him anymore. The spouse changed into residing along with her husband at Bomadi, Delta state earlier than she left for her mother’s residence at Isampou, Bayelsa"

The jilted husband allegedly poured gasoline in and around the home of his mom-in-law with the intention of roasting the wife, who become said to have deliberate to sleep in her mother’s room.
"though the wife had deliberate to sleep. However modified her mind on the remaining minute and moved to the residence of a friend. It was simplest her mother and her brother that have been within the house at some stage in the fireplace." an eyewitness said

The whereabouts of the suspect is unknown.
